They may be simple, but no one can resist their bright colour and rounded shape. The range of colour available is just incredible. It is like having a paintbox to hand. Onr popular idea is to combine gerberas of several colours in a bouquet, while other designs use carefull colour matched gerberas in combination wuth other flowers. These are so many colours available you are bound to be able to match any one. They are a great gift for all occasions: small, medium, or large, the bouquet will just look perfect.

Gerberas are the fifth most popular of any cut flowers in the world and are ranked very highly in NASA's list of most "green" house plants, absorbing carbon dioxide and returning oxygen to the atmosphere. Since their discovery in South Africa in the nineteenth century thousands of new varieties and colours have been bred and they are available as single, double and black-eyed versions. The new dwarf "germini"  has been bred for smaller flower heads and softer more feminine colours, making them more suitable for a romantic bouquet.
