The UK’s tallest Christmas Tree

The UK’s tallest Christmas tree was lit up on 15th November this year. It stands 27.5metres (90ft) tall, and 10metres (32ft) across with over 21,000 red baubles. The tree is a seasonal attraction at Cheshire Oaks Shopping Centre, near Ellesmere Port in Cheshire. It took 12 men seven days to erect and decorate ready for Christmas shoppers to admire. The tree is worth £100,000 and can be seen for miles. It sits on concrete piles sunk twelve metres into the bedrock below.

Most people have a requirement for a smaller tree for home festivities, and we recommend a natural tree of the variety Nordman, as they have good needle retention and are able to last through most of December until Christmas, spreading that lovely pine scent through the house.

We supply real Christmas trees for the home or office from the beginning of December, and we can also supply a full set of decorations and a trained florist to install them for you, bringing the full festive look with no hassle.
