Pruning Brings the Best out of your Garden

Pruning Brings the Best out of your Garden

With the weather seeing big changes all over the world, perennials which bloom in the fall are blooming earlier and earlier. Sometimes they flower so early that usually they dry out by the time fall sets in.

To slow down the blooming process, it is a good idea to start pruning your plants. Your plants may end up being a bit smaller as well as the flowers, but this is not a problem as pruning will encourage your plants to produce more flowers.

However, you should be careful not to prune if your plant has begun producing flower buds. If you prune away the buds this will really delay growth and you might not see any flowers until next year…
