Garden Tour to Feature Flowers and Pools
With all the April showers this spring there really have been a lot of May flowers. This comes as good news for the 4th annual Spring Garden Tour.
The purpose of this event is to raise money for the Mississauga unit of the Canadian Cancer Society. Regardless of the weather, this event will be taking place at the end of the month.
About 10 gardens will be featured in the Rattray Marsh part of the city. Gardening trends and designs will be presented by landscape design expert Don Hancock at the Bradley House Museum.
The proceeds from the presentation will also go toward helping cancer patients in the area.
One of the organizers of the event Jacqueline Cavalheiro expects this year’s event to be quite a hit. One special feature is that gardens with pools will be on display, which will be a source of ideas for those with pools.
