Flowers Drawing in Crowds
In Tyler, Texas flowers have been drawing crowds. Tourists, pets and locals all made their way through the Azalea District, to view beautiful budding lawns this weekend, as a part of the 50th Annual Azalea and Spring Flower Trail.
The weather was perfect for the event, making the annual event even more pleasant. Many observers made their way out to view the scenery, after which they were greeted by bowls of chili and the sound of music, as the chili cookoff is the culmination of this event.
Of course, the azaleas were the most important part of the festival. Thousands of flowers dot the trail route followed by the thousands of visitors who flock to the town each year. Gardeners opened up their gardens for all to enjoy, wowing the crowds with beautiful shades of fuchsia, purple, yellow and white blooms.
