Delivering the goods

In my work as a delivery driver for Flowers24hours.co.uk I get to see our customers at all the important times in their lives. On the 29th February I was present for at least two proposals by flowers. It is the one day, once every four years only, when women are traditionally given the right to propose to their men – and refusal is not allowed!

At least one of the recipients of our flower delivery looked very flustered as he signed for his roses. “Are you sure they’re for me?” he stammered, blushing as red as the flowers.

I expect we shall be receiving an order for his wedding flowers very soon!
