Poetry in the Garden

Dickinson’s garden was a major inspiration to her poetry and in this exhibit flowers will be scattered with her poetry.

With some research an creativity her garden in Amherst Massachusetts, has been recreated. Dickinson truly related to her flowers, she often called herself Daisy, which she felt to be a representation of innocence. While she felt that other flowers like roses and jasmine were a reminder of friends she felt attached to.
